Steph in Hyde Park
Earlier this month I met up with my friend Steph to go to see the Glamour of the Gods exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. It's a collection of portraits of Hollywood film stars taken from between the 20s to the 60s. It was so brilliant to see the work of people who were doing this so long ago and really interesting to see how the style of photography developed through the years. There was even an example of a how they retouched negatives in those days, and I realised just how far the photography industry has come since the early days of film!
It also was inspiring and to read about the journeys that these photographers had made, to be photographing such famous celebrities and icons of the era. Afterwards, we headed to Hyde Park to take some portraits of our own!
