AIDS Ark Fundraising Event at Menswear Store Fohxall, Covent Garden

Last week I covered AIDS Ark's fundraising event, Shopp1ng for 1 at Covent Gardens new menswear store, Foxhall. Since AIDS Ark was extablished in 2002, they have helped to save the lives of hundreds of individuals by enabling access access to HIV medication at the frontiers of the developing world - currently they are working in India, Burma, Thailand, South Africa and Lesotho.

They currently provide approximately £300 per patient per year to cover the combined cost of ARV's and associated medical care.

It is run by volunteers who work to identify medical clinics in these regions that treat HIV+ patients, and all overheads are paid by its Trustees.
