Group Photo Shoot in Paris with Kim Morrison - Retreat Photography Experience

I’m so excited to share these photos today from one of the most special and inspired shoots of 2019… a group photo shoot in Paris with the incredible Kim Morrison and five of her wonderful clients and friends!

I first had the pleasure of meeting and working with Kim in the summer of 2016, when I joined her on her French travels for a photo shoot! (You can see the photos from that amazing day here).

Kim is the founder of the amazing Aromatherapy company Twenty8, author, speaker, podcaster, mama, and host of the Self Care Weekend retreat events based in Australia.

Following her time exploring Paris and Provence in 2016 she wanted to create a travel experience for others and share the next French adventure… to explore the cultural sights and experiences, to learn about the process of creating essential oils and their healing properties, and importantly to create an opportunity for her clients to take time away from the day-to-day, to soak up the beauty of France and all it has to offer, to indulge, to recharge and restore, with supportive and inspiring people.

I was so excited to be asked about incorporating a photographic aspect to the offering, and was thrilled to host a group photoshoot with some of the ladies on the trip!

In the lead up to our day in July I loved getting to know everyone personally, finding out about where they were at, their reason for being a part of this gorgeous trip, and what they would most love to come away with from a day like this.

Having this personal connection helped me to plan a shoot day with each person in mind, so that they could come away with unique images that would be meaningful and supportive for them; whether for their business or personally, to capture this special moment in time.

It really was an honour to be involved in this shoot, and every time I look at the shots I am transported back in to the energy of the joy, love, warmth and excitement that we all felt on the day.. what a magical time it was.
