Devon Personal Brand Photographer - Feminine Archetype photography - Sharlene Belusevic
It was so special to work with Sharlene Belusevic here in Devon on this first of two personal brand photo-shoots we collaborated on in the Autumn.
Sharlenes work is about healing the feminine wounds (sister, mother, witch), reclaiming our feminine power, and healing our lineage, past and future. Sharlene facilitates this work through women’s circles, coaching, and group program offerings at The School of Feminine Healing.
For this shoot, we wanted to create images that spoke to the Archetypes associated with these wounds… the Mother, Wise Woman, Wild Woman.
We mood-boarded, ideated and dreamt into visions for these images. It was powerful tapping into the energies of the archetypes together before the day, planning out our locations in nature, props to incorporate, outfits, colours and stories to tell in the photographs.
Our plans evolved and shifted in the weeks leading up to our session, and with the turbulent, unpredictable weather we experienced in the autumn, it was very much an alive process!!
On the day, we journeyed through the qualities and textures of each… and we had SO MUCH FUN!
This session was about Sharlene making a stand for who she is, and the work in the world she’s called to deliver, capturing the power and meaning of this. It was so special to work together.
It was almost impossible to narrow the hundreds we created down for this blog post, but here are some of my absolute faves! I’ve kept them in the order of the Archetypes we worked with (rather than mixing them all up), I wonder if you’ll sense the transition between these chapters...
