Dartmoor nature photography
A little while back we discovered a part of Dartmoor we could get to from Exeter in under half an hour. AMAZING!
Just beyond the village of Dunsford is a beautifully mossy, wooded hillside. Park at Briton St Lane car park, and cross the road up into the trees.
You’ll hear the River Teign below you, and have the option to walk above it for a while as you climb.
It’s a gorgeous green place with steep stony paths, mini waterfalls and whortleberries a-plenty (can we call them that if we’re no longer on Exmoor?).
I didn’t make very many photos on this walk - I have a tendency to make every outing a lot of times longer than it would otherwise be because there are too many beautiful things to stop and photograph!
So here are a few frames from the start of our walk before I decided to put the camera away and immerse myself through the lenses of my own eyeballs.
