Behind The Glass | Sabrina Lee Hammon Installation @ Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge
I was kindly referred to work with the fabulous Sabrina Lee Hammon earlier this summer. Sabrina is a super talented set designer, prop maker and artist at her company BEHIND THE GLASS which focuses on window displays and in-store installations. She has been commissioned to display her striking work in a collection of high end stores across London, among many other exciting creative projects!
She was looking to get some photographs taken of one of her recent installations at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store, and I was really pleased to come in to photograph her work.
I found it so interesting to photograph these geometric pieces around the shop floor. As I moved around the pieces with my camera it was gorgeous to watch the shapes move around each other, black lines and sharp corners slotting together, creating pleasing compositions!
From the images you will see below, she designed and made the black & grey geometric panels and birds, all headwear seen on the mannequins & matching accessories, gold feather wrist cuffs, the black textured fabric arm piece and the AMAZING black feather jacket.
I was also commissioned by Harvey Nichols to photograph their new shoe department and a menswear installation on another floor at the flagship store which you take a peek at here.
You can check out Sabrinas sketches for this concept here, alongside some of her other installations and window displays. You can also keep up to date with what Sabrina is up to over on twitter, or check out her inspiration at her Pinterest here.
I received this wonderful testimonial from Sabrina shortly after she received her images
