Second Shooter for Clare West Photography | The Wedding of Angela & Ryan

I have always wanted to photograph weddings. It is such a special and beautiful occasion to document and capture, so I was thrilled to take a big step in my business and growth this year and take on my first bookings! Each wedding is different... Everything that is unique about the bride and groom, their families, friends, venues will materialise in their wedding day, and I knew it would be valuable to work on a variety of them before it came to shooting them by myself.

A local wedding photographer, the wonderful Clare West, who I had met towards the end of 2011 agreed to have me second shoot with her at one of the weddings she was capturing this summer. I was so grateful for the opportunity to get this extra insight into what is involved when photographing a day like this, and meet the lovely couple.

It was a really wonderful occasion, the bridal preparations were held at the Oxfordshire Golf Club, where the reception would later take place, and the ceremony was held at St Dunstans Church in Princes Risborough.

Since this day, I have photographed my own two weddings which were totally amazing to capture and work on. The first one I blogged here. I am so looking forward to next years bookings!
