A Mid Devon Walk - Nature Photography

Well, somehow it’s nearly the end of September, and ALSO somehow I’m yet to post anything on my blog for exactly a month!

Life has been full with personal brand shoots with both new and returning clients in Manchester, Northumberland, Cheshire, as well as more locally in Devon which has been so lovely. I’ve enjoyed scouting out locations here and am excited about the next sessions coming up 😍 Lots of images to share soon!

Last weekend I headed to East Sussex to photograph the amazing Happy Startup Summercamp for the third time. It’s always a lot of fun to be involved and so special to reconnect with Brighton peeps. I always feel a bit sad driving away from that area, as while I love my life in the South West, I do miss Brighton too!

I camped out at beloved Knepp in August for the eighth year in a row with very good friends - a favourite place we love to be and a very special time I look forward to each year. I love watching the storks swirling overhead there and all the wildlife there, as well as chatting with the interesting people we always seem to meet on our walks, in the bird hide, or over washing up in the campsite. 😄

I visited family in Bucks while in the east, Sunderland while in the north, celebrated my Grandmas birthday, my Mums, my 32nd & my first nephews second birthday. Some of us travelled to Carmarthen where they live for the occasion which was so beautiful, so… it’s been a bit of a whirlwind.

Autumn feels like it’s really starting to settle in. So it feels nice while the leaves are still mostly green to reflect back on this Summer walk I shared with my lovely friend Hannah near Crediton and share a few photos from our evening.

Hannah & I connected through friends of friends from Brighton when Jon & I moved to the South West.

The evening wander captured here was totally magical. It’s a dream and such a privilege to be able to head off to meet a lovely friend in nature when my working day is done, for rambling conversations over rambling countryside. Very grateful.
